Program Scholarships
Scholarship decisions will be made in May. The number of scholarships awarded will be based on the number of participants that have registered as of May 1. Jr. Wolves policy is to award 1 scholarship per every 50 total registrants. Due to Tcyfl mandates, all scholarship recipients must reside in the Prairie Ridge High School district.
Scholarship requests submitted after May 1 will be considered only if scholarship funds are still available.
JERSEYS: Scholarship recipients are unable to request jersey numbers until all paying participants requests have been filled.
Scholarship Notes
- Requests must be submitted via the online form ONLY.
- There are a very limited amount of scholarship dollars available.
- The organization will consider each request individually.
- Scholarship recipients and their families are expected to participate in volunteer activities for the program.

Financial Assistance Program
The JR Wolves Scholarship Program is designed to provide temporary support for athletes in the Prairie Ridge high school district that want to participate in the JR Wolves football or cheerleading, however do not have the current economic resources to allow them to do so.
SCHOLARSHIP REQUESTS MUST BE FILLED OUT FOR EACH SEASON, REGARDLESS OF PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS OR AGREEMENTS.
- Qualifications and Rules-
- The JR Wolves Board or designated special committee will determine a families' need for assistance
- Families must be experiencing financial difficulties, causing a situation that would otherwise prevent participation in the program.
- In most cases, families will be required to purchase jerseys, game pants, cheer bows/sweatshirts or any other equipment that the athlete keeps.
- Families can only take advantage of the Financial Assistance program two times (per player).
- Families need to submit a statement of need to the financial assistance committee using the online form.
- The board or designated special committee will determine if a family’s needs qualify for the financial assistance program. A response will be provided to the family via email, in which the level of sponsorship will be clearly expressed.
- The program will use a guideline of 1 player for each 50 players in the program, as to evenly distribute the sponsorships across each level as best as possible.
- Financial Assistance applicants and information, including historical information, will be kept confidentially by the registration system and will be made available to the board to on an as needed basis.
- All information must be filled out using the online form for the request to be considered, including a narrative of not more than 500 words explaining the situation and why sponsorship is requested including type of assistance desired.
- All requests have to be received by the last day of registration for the program that they wish to participate in.
